Tiny Holiday House

Minimal in size and aesthetic, the Tiny Holiday House makes escaping to The Netherlands all the more enjoyable. The compact home is comprised of four cubes situated on the edge of a lake. Their varying sizes and uniform charred facade give them a sculptural quality. Despite its modest size, the interior’s use of polished concrete floors, whitewashed walls, and natural oak panels create a spacious atmosphere. Large glazed panels take advantage of the incoming sunlight while framing in views of the surrounding landscape. To further expand the living space, sliding glass doors extend the interior out to a landscaped terrace overlooking the water.
